This will allow the use of an IOS device for both scheduling and conducting Internet video visits. Family/friends will no longer need to use the VisBridge application. Android Users will need to update to the latest version of the applications GTL – Schedule Visits (1 of 2) and GTL – Internet Visits (2 of 2). Users will also need to change auto-update to enabled instead of disabled. WE RECOMMEND USING HEADPHONES FOR VIDEO VISITS TO ELIMINATE BACKGROUND NOISE AND IMPROVE AUDIO QUALITY. Individuals who wish to supplement the above cost-free options may continue to have Internet video calls at a cost of $6.25 for 25 minutes, or $2.50 for a 10-minute visit. Internet visits can be conducted via a webcam enabled computer, or an Android device. Visitors conduct video visits via stations at the MCSO Administrative Services Building (formerly the Work Release and Restitution Center) located at 901 Elizabeth Avenue in Charlotte, North Carolina.
